I bought this app so I could control Plex on my MacBook Pro as it pushed video through Airplay to my TV. And the remote does this perfectly. Nicely spaced buttons, good design and a satisfying click sound. But then I also found, that with a few buttons, I could also launch or quit Plex and turn on and off Airplay, all from the iPhone. Just a really nicely thought and designed app. Highly recommend. Works well with other applications as well.

This is certainly the most well designed app for remote controlling OSX. Interface is great and helper/service app you install on the computer is simple and does not require configuration. Certainly a must have for OS X users with an iOS device.

This app is just what I was looking for.

It is a must have if you own a Mac.

In theory this app is great for someone who watches tv from their computer from across the room. For that reason I love it - a huge lifesaver. That being said, the rowmote sporadically fails to work with no way to resolve it but to remove it and reinstall. Its so inconvenient. A huge fail.

Once your on it through wifi its BOMB ..

Decent app needs additional features pre-upgrade but otherwise solid.

Constant connectivity problems, when it works its fine but its almost always dropping the connection. Very frustrating

MacのStation TVのチャンネル変更もできるようにしていただきたい。

iPod touch(2nd Gen.), iPhone4 + iMac(intel) OS 10.6.7 にて現在使用中です。動作不良も特になく、OSの進化に合わせて、適宜アップデートしていますし、大変便利です。 特に、iMacをBlueTooth キーボード＋マウスで使っているので、これを使ってからキーボードとマウスを使うのが面倒に…なってしまうほど、Macをより気楽につかえるツールです。 最初は値段高いと思ったのですが、アップデートがしっかりしていることを考えれば、現在では全く高いとは思いません。

このRowmoteをiPadで使うことでMagic Trackpadは完全に代用できます。 私はMacBook AirではLion、Mac miniではSnowLeopardという使い方をしていて、SnowLeopardにMagic Trackpadを導入してもスクロール方向がLionと逆になってしまうことを懸念して導入をためらっていましたがこのRowmoteはSnowLeopardで使用してもLionと同じNatural方向に設定できる点が大満足です。 Apple Wireless Keyboardの代わりになるかという点については、ハードキーボードとソフトキーボードという大きな違いがあるので完全に代用ということにはならないし、ソフトキーボードに慣れている人にしかオススメできませんが、私はかなり満足してMac mini用のキーボードとしても使っています。

iTunesを使う時はRemoteとの組み合わせが最強です。

but it works once in 3 tries, sometimes stop/start as intended but sometimes not.

I use this app daily, but it has become more and more choppy and unstable. Get the bugs worked out again and Id be happy to return my five star rating.

It is good, works really well but there are some bugs with the user interface ( ex orientation changes )
